Business Management students take top prize at the Apex Entrepreneurial Challenge

CONGRATULATIONS to Pamplin College of Business MGT students Glenn Feit (‘20), Greg Grande (‘20) and the entire QuickTech Medical new venture team as they were awarded as the TOP TEAM this past weekend at the 2020 Virginia Tech Apex Center for Entrepreneurs Annual Entrepreneurial Challenge. Glenn and Greg are both seniors pursuing a management degree with an option in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology (EIT).
Sponsored by the Virginia Tech Center for Entrepreneurs, the Virginia Tech Entrepreneur Challenge is a campus-wide, student startup competition that brings together successful alumni-entrepreneurs, industry partners, and students to showcase the best new ventures at Virginia Tech. Interdisciplinary teams from across campus competed on Friday, February 21 at the Inn at Virginia Tech for the best business model and a chance to win up to $40,000 in cash awards and prizes. The Entrepreneur Challenge event features a showcase of the finalist teams from Virginia Tech along with a high-powered lineup of judges sharing their expertise and experience in the world of entrepreneurship.
Glenn delivered an absolutely amazing presentation and the entire QuickTech Medical team was incredibly prepared for the judge’s business plan challenges and market development questions.
Team QuickTech Medical is digitizing the goniometer for fast, efficient and improved rehab results. Innovation, technology and entrepreneurship at the absolute best.
Congratulations to all the teams who participated in the 2020 VT Entrepreneur Challenge. The 2nd and 3rd place winners of the Challenge are active members of the Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club) at Virginia Tech which is a student organization within the Department of Management and led by management faculty member Dave Bluey, Assistant Professor of Practice and President, Glenn Feit. The E-Club at Virginia Tech brings together the most creative and action-orientated students to build world changing ideas and is located at The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
