Felipe Calvano is a fourth-year doctoral candidate at the Pamplin College of Business. His research interests include corporate governance, innovation and misconduct with a particular focus on the impact of board of directors on different organizational outcomes. In addition, he is interested in understanding how and why the impact of board of directors differs in other countries. Felipe is an active member of the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society.
Before joining the Ph.D. program, he worked as Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Master's in Business Administration.
