Joe Barco

Joe graduated from the Pamplin College of Business in 1995 with degrees in both Management and Finance. Additionally, he obtained his MBA with a concentration in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. After starting his career at the Federal Reserve System as an Analyst, he moved into IT in 1997 performing several roles including computer programming, project management and database administration. Currently, he is a Director of Product Development and Technology at DSD Partner

Joe comes from a family of Hokies. His father, sister, aunt and uncles are all graduates of Virginia Tech. A Virginia Tech Football season ticket holder for over 20 years, he enjoys attending football games in the fall.  He also enjoys golfing, visiting his daughter Keely who is in college and spending time with his son Zach who is active in high school sports.
