Sean Raines

Sean is an accomplished business leader with over 23 years of experience in the CPG space. His time at Spectrum Brands, where he most recently served as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, gave him a wealth of experience engaging consumers and leading internal teams globally. Sean studied Marketing and Management and earned his BS in Business Administration from Concord University. Currently, he is a proud member of the MSBA-BA Cohort 9 at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. His expected graduation is the summer of 2025

Throughout his career, Sean has demonstrated exceptional skills in team building, innovation, international business, and strategy development/implementation. He has successfully launched numerous innovative products, including pioneering a first-of-its-kind Direct to Consumer offering, setting new industry standards at every step.  

Sean is an avid runner, having completed multiple ultramarathons. He can often be found supporting his friends at races, which is what he enjoys the most. He is also a movie buff and an avid reader, constantly on a path of self-improvement. 

Sean is excited and inspired to bring his wealth of industry experience and innovative mindset to the classroom, inspiring the next generation of business leaders.
