Angelia Lucas

Angelia Lucas is an experienced Human Resource Executive with 28 years of overall business expertise, including 15 years of progressive HR leadership. She has worked across various sectors, including healthcare, mental health, and education organizations. Currently holding the position of Director of Human Resources at the Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc., she plays a pivotal role in overseeing various HR functions, such as workforce planning, compensation and benefits management, employee relations, strategic HR planning, legal compliance, cost management, organizational change management, and training and development initiatives. Angelia is a dedicated HR professional passionate about leading, educating, and empowering students to reach their full potential. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration, both from Ashford University.
