Katrina Brownell is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech University. Her research draws on social psychological theories and perspectives to examine the role of entrepreneurial cognition, emotion, and behaviors in new venture outcomes. She has published in outlets including Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economic, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Venturing Insights, and International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship.
