Biography

Rohan Karri is a PhD student in the Department of Management, Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. Prior to joining the PhD program in 2023, he graduated with an MBA in Tourism Management from Pondicherry University, India. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (tourism) from the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, India (an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India). Rohan’s fascination centers around gaining a profound understanding of the nuanced decision-making process at the upper echelons of organizations, especially with strategic undertakings like mergers & acquisitions, reorganization, and wrongdoing. Facets that may influence decision making and the firm’s performance are of great interest to him.
