Jonathan Cin

Jonathan Cin is an expert in IT Service and Requirements Management, with over a decade of experience in the federal IT sector, specifically within the defense industry. In addition to his industry roles, he serves as an adjunct professor, offering students a strategic and practical perspective shaped by his extensive professional background.

Jon’s areas of expertise include data center operations, ticketing system transitions, customer service, and continuous process improvement. Since 2012, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering innovative solutions and driving operational excellence in federal IT environments.

Although Jon did not attend Virginia Tech, his wife holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the university. Many members of her family - including siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and her grandfather - are also Virginia Tech alumni. Jon and his wife have two children and are proud to call Blacksburg their home.
