Biography
Indunil is a doctoral student in Management at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, specializing in Entrepreneurship. Her research focuses on the entrepreneurial production of space and the evolution of business models, with particular emphasis on social and sustainable entrepreneurship. She also brings scholarly experience in Indigenous studies, climate change adaptations, and precision agriculture.
Indunil graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology and Management, specializing in Applied Economics and Business Management from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2020. She completed her M.S. in Geography from Virginia Tech in 2023. Before beginning her doctoral studies in Fall 2024, she worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Sociology at Virginia Tech.
