Alan Desai

Alan Desai is pursuing his Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Strategy from the Pampling College of Business at Virginia Tech. His research interests include corporate governance, boards of directors, top management teams, and executive decision making. 

Alan received his BSBA in Finance and International Business from the University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business in 2020. 

Before starting his Ph.D., Alan started his career at Barings in Charlotte before helping launch a reinsurance backed asset manager in New York, where he primarily invested in Sports, Structured Credit, and Private Credit.
