Eric Heffernan

Eric Heffernan is a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience focused on driving growth and innovation for public sector clients. His expertise spans both technology and advisory services, enabling organizations to achieve meaningful results. Eric was recently named Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Segment at Deep Water Point & Associates. In this role, he leverages his extensive background to support large government contracting industry clients, helping them navigate an increasingly complex market landscape and achieve their strategic and business objectives.

Before joining Deep Water Point & Associates, Eric Heffernan was a partner at Grant Thornton’s public sector practice, where he led over 400 practitioners and advised senior federal leaders. Following Grant Thornton's acquisition by Guidehouse in 2022, Eric continued in his role as a partner and market lead, overseeing technology, advisory, and managed service businesses for the federal civilian business unit.  Eric holds an MBA in Global Finance & Leadership and a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, strategic acumen, and a dedication to mentoring teams for long-term success.
