Leo O’Gilvie, a 2018 Marketing and Management alumnus, is a Business Transformation and Design Senior Consultant for Ernst and Young (EY) within their Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications sector (TMT). He specializes in helping clients improve their sales and business processes through customer experience and employee experience redesign, implementing and enabling large digital transformations and developing differential go-to-market strategies. He is currently based out of the Greater Los Angeles area where he is pursuing his MBA, but he also travels nationally for client engagements and projects regularly. Outside of client work, Leo is involved with different officewide and firmwide initiatives to build community and personal development opportunities, recruit top talent from undergraduate and MBA programs and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives alongside our firmwide commitment to anti-racism. In addition to this, Leo recently adopted a 3-legged husky pup named Grizzly, is an active leader within the Ex Lapide Alumni Society at Virginia Tech and also runs a talent management and social media marketing agency where he and his team works with up-and-coming talent to develop strategic plans, digital social media assets and social events. This can include anything from marketing new album releases to managing and directing music videos. He never gets bored.
